This special event has become an annual "go to" for people of the community who have a passion for philanthropy, education & children & scholarship. Princess, Inc. started with giving away 4 small donations of only $250 to now awarding deserving students with awards of $500 and $1000 and also awarding MacBook Pros as well. Without the continued financial support from the community Princess, Inc. would not be able to continue such a great work--for that we've decided to honor "our community" and those who work tirelessly in it--through personal efforts and organized groups---impacted our community is a positive way! Please join us in celebrating "our community"--there's always exciting live entertainment, awesome themed baskets for raffle and just a grand time of networking! All proceeds go towards the programming efforts of Princess, Inc.
This is the very first community event of its kind to hit the streets of Atlantic City--all women born in the 50s & 60s and beyond...up until just recently have nostalgic memories of playing "double dutch" in their neighborhoods---the rhythm of the ropes smacking the concrete, the laughter, the songs, the challenges will all be rebirthed on Saturday June 10th 2017 at 2pm in the NEW Sgt. Harold R. Brown Community Park--off of Bacharach Blvd. in the center city of Atlantic City. This serves as an orientation for the parents and newest members (select) for the 2017 Princess, Inc. Cohort--meeting will be held at The Atlantic City PAL Building--250 N. New York Ave. ACNJ 08401---this forum is mandatory for membersehip!!
Nomination Requirements: nominee must be 13 years of age, goal oriented, willing to learn & grow, have a GPA of 3.0 and have the full support from parent/guardian. All other membership requirements will be shared formally during the Membership Intake Process. *All nominations must be emailed by a community person, parent, teacher, and/or coach—share a one-page narrative telling why you believe that your princess is the best fit for Princess, Inc.
This is the second year Princess, Inc. has been asked to help spread some holiday cheer in conjunction with the Pleasantville Recreation Center---this popular holiday gift give away event serves more than 200 needy families in the Pleasantville area---its an evening filled with laughter, and hope and joy for the parents and their children--children go home with a wrapped gift, a happy picture with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus--full tummies and some even win brand new bikes!
