Members of Princess, Inc. support local Stockton University chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho to collect donated bookbags filled with "Back To School" supplies for underserved children in the Atlantic City area.
After years of supporting the RMH and their various community servive projects--Princess, Inc. has decided to reconnect but at a different location--the RMH in Camden welcmoes Princess, Inc. to drop off donated tabs & tour the facility!!!
This weekend was filled with opportunities & experiences for our children to explore the lives of children in developing countries such as Liberia & the Dominican Republic. Through a self guided tour, fixed with audio & simulated areas which resembled the living conditions of children living in extreme poverty in developing countries, this experience was heart warming and convicting.
Who knew in just one year we'd go from novice street double dutch jumpers--to starting our own competitive double dutch company, co-hosting the very first double dutch championship in Atlantic City with the founder of the International Double Dutch League, Ms. Laila Little and becoming certified competitive double dutch coaches????
But most importantly we do it for the culture--so please join us this year for a 2 for 1 event--its going to be a great time and the dopest blend of street & comepetitve double dutch all weekend long!!! #packyourpurse is a community service initiative that we are planning to do Saturday May 12th 2018 starting at 1pm--Mother's Day weekend--we plan to provide 600 homeless/at risk women & young ladies in Atlantic City with gently used purses filled with all the essentials fitting for today's woman! The partnership is remarkable--area sororities, churches, community agencies, etc.
